Settings → Parental control. Set a PIN and any adult groups and categories are shown with a padlock instead of being removed, and open once the PIN is entered.
Remember unlock
This switch decides how long an unlock lasts, and the difference matters:
- On (the default) — the PIN is asked once and then not again, restarts included. Convenient, but be clear about what it is: after the first unlock the lock is off until someone turns it back on. It stops a first-time viewer, not a returning one.
- Off — a real parental lock. The unlock lasts until the app closes, and the PIN is asked again next time it opens.
Lock again puts the padlocks back immediately, whichever setting you use. Setting or changing the PIN also re-locks.
Hiding it altogether
The separate Hide adult content switch removes the material from every list entirely and needs no PIN. Use that if you would rather it were simply not there.
